Anyway, yesterday wasn't too bad but the dogs were still warm. We celebrated with ice cubes. The only one who refused a cube was Sophie; I offered her two, she accepted both and spit them out. Silly girl!
Everyone else wanted one, even Spike, which suprised me.
Chomp! Chomp!
Moose, across the room, chomping away. I tried to upload a cute one of Spike and Murphy, but it just won't let me, in a reasonable size. Blogger.... grrr!
And, finally a teaser.... stay tuned to find out who/what these little gafers are and why they are here. I'm sure I'll be getting a phonecall from my mother about going something like "you got what? WHY?!?" Ah well, let's just say it was the better choice than another puppy and I NEEDED some baby fuzzies, post house deal falling apart, hehe.
Yup, they ARE cute!

I'm with you on trying to soak up the sun. Winter is so long and I swear it only exists to make us appreciate summer.
BTW, you might want to be careful about getting furry creatures to relieve your stress. I can see it now--the police showing up at your door with a megaphone saying, "Lady, step away from the gerbils."
I can't wait to read what the dogs think of your new additions.
Welcome back! That house you almost bought sounds dreadful. You'll have your own estate someday, no worries. This is actually a pretty good time to buy, just don't get one of those nasty fixer uppers.
Ice cubes are great for hot weather. Dexter chases his around the floor, Mango just chomps.

I like sun too. It's winter where I live. My hu-Mum sometimes remembers to put my basket where the sunshines in. I fink the sunshines will definately help you feel better.
My Mumma finks the rattie fings are cute. I finks they might make a nommy meal. ;)

Welcome back to bloggerland! I'm sorry the house didn't work out for you, but at least it (sort of!) brought new baby fuzzy things. :) They're just too cute (and so are the canine gang, of course)!
I get the strangest feeling Moose will be there for a while yet...
It's good to hear from you again!! I was just thinking about winter and remembering how cold your weather gets. Dreaming is more like it - we've been over 100 all month. Enjoy the sun and those new baby fuzzies! We've had both mice & rats and loved them all ;-)
Aww they are so cute!
For your batteries you should totally go with rechargeable ones. The charger is around fifteen dollars at Walmart and comes with a set of batteries. Then each set after that is five or ten dollars. I can't remember. They pay for themselves fast! I use them in everything now hehe.
